Its FRE3DOM 3D monitor offers a 3D experience with unparalleled realism and clarity, allowing greater user engagement and better decisions supported by high-quality 3D image analysis. AYE3D is incubated at Quantino and has won several awards and recognitions, including being selected to be part of Startup Montreal’s 20 Revelations 2022.

 

YOUR MISSION AT AYE3D:

Under the responsibility of the chief software engineer and sometimes accompanied by an FPGA expert, the embedded Linux engineer supports low-level software development activities. This includes :

The development of lower layers (boot, drivers, etc.) with strong embedded, security and real-time constraints. These can be software bricks or complete products

Passing unit tests of the developed modules

Maintenance of delivered code

Regular reporting of the progress of activities to the various parties concerned4

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in the development of the architecture of the total solution
  • Participate in the development of the algorithms of the embedded solution
  • Code all the embedded software of the product
  • Determine software testing strategy
  • Maintain developed code including adding new features
  • Participate in team meetings and report on the progress of their work

 

TRAINING AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Have a university degree or equivalent in the field of software.
  • Graduate or up to 3 years of experience
  • Ideally, beginners should have at least a first experience in the field of embedded Linux development.
  • Mastery of the C/C++ programming language essential.
  • Passionate about new technologies and technical challenges.

 

SKILLS

Required :

  • Have worked with ARM processors
  • Have already programmed embedded software in a major project
  • Autonomous, self-training ability
  • Excellent ability to integrate, organize and communicate, work and think in a team
  • Fluent English essential

YOUR MISSION AT AYE3D: 

Produce different components for our 3D Monitor without glasses as well as support R&D in the experimentation of different optical and mechanical production techniques. In addition, we will be in a period of geographical transition, so the machines will have to be dismantled and reassembled.

 

YOUR MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate our CNC machines in order to produce various elements of our 3D monitor
• Support R&D in the experimentation of different manufacturing techniques for optical elements
• Reassemble machines when moving YOUR CHALLENGES and PROJECTS:
• Manufacture the different parts with superior quality
• Support R&D to improve processes• Increase reliability and quantity of parts produced

• Graduate (DEP) with experience on CNC
• Have basic knowledge of CNC and CNC router.
• Have basic knowledge of software programming
• Specific knowledge:
• Knowledge of basic Microsoft software suite
